Methods
All my work is done in vitreous enamel (hot glass) on copper. The copper is hand cut, powdered glass is applied and the pieces are fired in a kiln. Many firings and techniques are used to create different looks. It is a process that results in beautiful colors and surfaces! All the ear wires and posts are sterling silver or 18K gold filled. .
Do to the nature of enameling there will be some variation in colors but they will always be beautiful.
Turnaround and minimums
All items are made entirely by hand. Orders can take from 2-6 weeks turnaround. Shipping is priority mail $12.00. Please choose priority in the shipping selection.
Minimum order is $400. I recommend a larger order to give customers color and size choices. My work is available on business size earring cards —perfect for display. If you have a preference for the work on cards or not please let me know.

Caring for enamel jewelry
Caring for enamel jewelry is simple. The pieces can be washed with soap and water. Any silver parts or exposed copper can be cleaned with a scrubby. For heavily tarnished silver, careful use of a polishing cloth is advised.

They may be called devils but they really are fun! A half circle post with a rectangle dangle might seem simple in concept but certain colors are paired and you add a little bit of dotting— it goes to a whole new level!
Colorful and unique earrings done in a painterly, vitreous enamel “mosaic” technique. Grains of enamel color are hand applied with a brush to the surface. The technique is not always predictable but lends itself to a very artistic feeling when fired.

These earrings are made with hand-cut copper that has been enameled in a careful and long process of adding grains of enamel to scrafitto sections.

These earrings are hand created in my Maine studio. The copper is cut and formed then kiln enameled using various techniques. They are finished on the edges so the copper gleams.
