What’s the story behind Wild Beads?

Wild Beads started with a dream.

All my life I have wanted 2 things; a camper and to make things. I have had the “make things” part down for awhile, and last February I got my camper van. Since then I have been taking short trips and getting her ready to adventure and create.

Having a big collection of seed beads it seemed the logical choice to work on learning to do hand beaded pieces. I am completely fascinated by the process! The colors and all the stitches used to create such lovely flowing jewelry has taken me over.

The fact that it is a portable art form has clinched the deal. I love setting up in my van, in a beautiful place, and getting to work on a new pair of earrings and some new colors.. There is nothing like it. Hiking and exploring a new area fills me with inspiration. This year I started camping in April in Maine and have enjoyed watching the season evolve.
